Randall G. Rogan, Professor of Communication and Associate Dean for Academic Planning, has been at Wake Forest since 1990. Prior to July, 2010, he served as faculty member in the Department of Communication, departmental chair, and Associate Dean for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Wake Forest. He teaches courses in relational communication, communication and conflict, research methods, and communication, terrorism and hostage negotiation. He is an internationally recognized authority in crisis and hostage negotiation and communication of terrorism, having spoken at many national and international venues. As Associate Dean for Academic Planning, Randall will manage faculty recruitment and hiring, accreditation and program reviews, faculty workload, course enrollment, grade reporting and the Hebrew University faculty exchange program.
