This site was conceived by Dave Anderson, and initial data compilation and formatting was by Michael Sapp.  Chris Marts designed, implemented, and maintains this final version of the site.  Dave Anderson is providing the site's content.  Nancy Crouch helped launch The Albatross Project back in 1993.  Thanks to Chris Andersen and Jake Anderson for editorial feedback.

A huge amount of time was donated by several generous people to produce translations of the English version of the site.  Patty Fernández single-handedly translated the site into Spanish, and Thomas Orthmann, Martin Wikelski, and especially Julius Brennecke produced the German version.  Chris Marts continued his kind commitment to The Albatross Project in composing Spanish and German graphical elements.  Thanks to all!

If you have any comments about the design of the site itself, please e-mail Chris Marts with comments, questions or suggestions.   All feedback is appreciated.

If you need to contact somebody about the content or data found on the site, please get in touch with Dr. David Anderson.  This project is an ongoing research study and the results of these efforts will be updated to this site so check back often.

There are numerous links to sites that are not contained on the Wake Forest webserver. These links are indicated with the globe icon. We are not responsible for the content found on these pages.

All navigational text elements on the site were created by Chris Marts.  We thank Paul Sievert, Ken Bennett, Hiroshi Hasegawa, and several other generous folks for photos in the site (we're still organizing these credits!).
