Perspectives in Biology Symposium 2012

by on May 11, 2012

The Department of Biology is pleased to announce the roster of speakers for the 28th Annual Perspectives in Biology symposium on November 9 and 10, 2012. We look forward to seeing you there!  Our Featured Speakers are Terry Hazen, Kiisa Nishikawa, and Robert Bridges.

The PIB Symposium program brings three eminent biologists to the Department for an intensive but very collegial series of scholarly presentations for biological faculty from colleges and universities in the region. The speakers present state of the art information on a diversity of topics, information which many of the faculty attendees can immediately apply to their own teaching and research. The PIB program is routinely attended by 60-80 non-Wake Forest professors representing 30-35 institutions from NC, SC, VA, TN and MD.
