Applying. Students who are completing a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent are invited to apply online through the Wake Forest Graduate School using the link below. Please contact us with questions about the application process.
GRE Test scores, transcripts, and three letters of recommendation are required. Submission of scores on the GRE Subject Test in chemistry is recommended. Information on the GRE is available on the Wake Forest Graduate School website.
Deadlines. For students being admitted starting in the fall, the deadline for application is Jan. 15th. Late applicants will be considered if positions are still available. Wake Forest also accepts applications for students starting in the spring semester, the deadline for spring semester applications is Nov. 1st.
Foreign Applicants Test of English as a Foreign Language – International students (those who did not graduate from colleges or universities within the U.S.) must submit the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. The minimum total score on the TOEFL is 550 (paper-based test), 213 (computer-based test), or 79-80 (internet-based). The minimum score on the IELTS is 6.5.
