A breakthrough in cancer research at WFU is a sign of progress and hope

“The most tenacious and deadly types of cancer may soon have an equally tenacious adversary, thanks to the research of a medicinal chemist at Wake Forest University. We’re proud to see this and other promising life-saving research going on in Winston-Salem.

Ulrich Bierbach’s research into treating cancers that are resistant to chemotherapy may hold hope for those suffering from the most difficult-to-cure types of cancer, such as breast and lung, the Journal’s Richard Craver reported.”
