Indigenous Peoples Day Program OCT 9

OnĀ Oct. 9, the Museum Of Anthropology will host an Indigenous Peoples Day event. Artist Bill Rogers will present a lunch-time brown bag about his research on historical Cherokee copper art techniques. After this talk, he will lead a workshop in creating copper art using these techniques. In the evening, join us for a talk by Thomas Belt about Cherokee language revitalization efforts as a parallel to the arts revitalization. See the MOA for more details!
