RESEARCH INTEREST

Dr. Llewellyn’s research focus is organizational rhetoric, how organizations communicate to gain, sustain or repair public legitimacy. With an earlier career in government and studies as a rhetorical critic, John writes about corporate social responsibility, organizational crisis, public relations, urban legends and “coachtalk.” Some recent items: “Regulation: Government, Business and the Self in the United States.” In The Debate Over Corporate Social Responsibility, Oxford University Press: 2007; “Whose Ethics?
