Rowie’s research interests combine her passion for public speaking and her sense of responsibility regarding environmental risk communication. She has conducted research on the relationship between environmental risk perception and risk communication outcomes. Rowie has also helped to guide undergraduate research related to the work of oral communication centers, and is a member of a learning analytics research team. She is currently working on science communication research.
