All admitted MS students are considered for merit-based financial aid – no additional scholarship application is required.
Types of merit awards that are offered include:
- Partial and full tuition scholarships
- Teaching assistantships
- Research assistantships
All awards are renewable for the two years of our program upon successful academic progress.
The teaching assistantship stipend is currently $13,200, paid out over 10 months (August-May). Research assistantships are supported by faculty grants and are at the teaching assistantship award level. Small additional funding ($500-$1000) for summer research can be applied for between the student’s first and second year.
Starting with the class of students entering in Fall 2016, there is also an opportunity to apply for an Inmar Technology Graduate Scholars assistantship and scholarship. In this assistantship, students will work part-time during the school year and full time during the summer at Inmar, an intelligent commerce networks and analytics company located in downtown Winston-Salem. More information and a separate application can be found here.
Additional scholarships that can be applied for once the student has enrolled at Wake Forest are listed here.
