Wake Hacks Zero

The WFU Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) is very happy to announce Wake Hacks Zero, the first hackathon at WFU. This hackathon is a precursor to the eventual first invitational Wake Hacks coming hopefully in Spring 2018. However, Wake Hacks Zero is no small feat in and of itself. It will be epic. We very much want to thank you for taking interest in our humble project.

WHEN: Saturday, April 8th

TIME: 12:00 PM (Noon) – 7:00 PM

FOOD: Snacks and FREE dinner

PRIZES: TBD

WHERE: Manchester Hall 229 to start

SOCIAL: instagram.com/WakeHacks1834

WHAT: “A hackathon is an event where people gather together to build technology projects and explore the fields of computer science, computer hardware, and entrepreneurship.” -Sajant Anand

Unlike other hackathons, ours will be shorter and offer an optional Android/iOS workshop aimed at new CSC 100 level students (very limited spots). However, the traditional structure of an MLH hackathon will remain. Teams of no more than 4 will compete to potentially win prizes. Come with a team, a friend, or alone and you will have a rather smashing time at Wake Hacks Zero!
