David John has taught in Wake Forest’s Department of Computer Science since 1982. His research pursuits include computational modeling of protein/gene Interactions, evolutionary strategies to improve computer security, and enhancing undergraduate parallel and distributed computing education. As Interim Director of Academic and Instructional Technology, David leads, represents, and enables faculty in adopting new technologies, while promoting Wake Forest as a leader in technology-enhanced education.
