| My research is focused primarily on development issues. I am currently working on the determinants and the measurement of the quality of education, with particular reference to Latin America. Another branch of my research is related to institutional performance and its effect on growth and development. In this area, I have been working on an explanation of corruption as an outcome of institutional deficiencies.
In the near future, I would like to work on an application of the economics of happiness to the analysis of developing countries. COURSES TAUGHT
