Each year, the Department of Education hosts the Emerging Teacher Leaders Network (ETLN) conference for recent graduates in their first five years of teaching as alumni return to Wake Forest University in January for a time of fellowship, collaboration, networking, and professional development.
2018 ETLN Conference
We are excited to announce that 2018 will mark the 15th anniversary of the ETLN conference. We will be inviting all Wake Forest Department of Education alumni to join us on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 7:00 to 9:00pm for an alumni reunion. More information will be forthcoming regarding the location of this event.
The 2018 ETLN conference will be held on January 13, 2018, on the campus of Wake Forest University. Alumni in their first five years of teaching are invited as we celebrate their many accomplishments, allow them to visit with friends, colleagues, and professors, and explore new ideas and innovative practices to support classroom teaching and school leadership.
The 2018 conference program will be released early in the fall semester. For more information, please email the conference coordinator, Ms. Tracy Stegman.
To learn more about the structure of ETLN, feel free to look back at the 2017 conference program.
Thanks to Crystal Vandiver, Program Manager for Secondary English Language Arts in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, we also have some amazing photos from the 2017 ETLN conference.
