Interested in Engaging in a Meaningful Experience “Down Under” Summer 2015?
Join your friends and colleagues on an exploration of education, art, culture, and the well-balanced lifestyle of New Zealand. The trip will run from May 20 to June 19 and begin with a two-week stay in the Auckland area. Participants will explore Auckland on the weekends and evenings and work in classrooms at Pt. England Primary School or Tamaki College in Glen Innes during the week. The second two weeks will be spent traveling across both islands with stops in Wellington, Dunedin, and Queenstown. From engaging deeply in a world class educational environment to exploring the world’s best examples of Maori and Pacifa art and culture, this trip will allow you to gain a global perspective on education and allow you to engage deeply with the unique indigenous culture of New Zealand.
Students participating in this WFU study abroad program will earn EDU 201L credit (2 hours) and EDU 393 Independent Study credit (3 hours).
