Department of Education Launches New Minor at Careers in Education Symposium

The Department of Education is pleased to invite you to the launch of their new minor in “Schools, Education, and Society” at the Careers in Education Symposium on Wednesday, February 26th, from 4-5:30 in Tribble Hall, room B216. Join us and learn how this program can provide a pathway to various careers in the field of education. Refreshments will be provided.

The Symposium will be divided into two segments:

4:00-4:30: Information Session

This informal meeting time will allow students interested in the Schools, Education, and Society minor to meet with faculty members from the Department of Education and learn more about Education courses.

4:30-5:30 Student Panel

Current undergraduate and graduate students share the benefits of Education coursework on career pathways such as teacher education, Teach for America, higher education, law, counseling, psychology, statistics, and more.
