September 7, 2012 in ZSR Library Auditorium (Rm 404), 2pm

Gillain Flynn, author of NY Times bestselling novel Gone Girl, will read in the ZSR Library Auditorium today at 2:00pm

Gillian Flynn received her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She then moved to New York and worked for 10 years at Entertainment Weekly magazine, four of which she spent as the TV critic. Flynn’s 2006 debut novel, Sharp Objects, was an Edgar Award finalist and the winner of two of Britain’s Dagger Awards — the first book to win multiple Dagger Awards in one year. She is currently working on the screenplay adaptation. Her second novel, Dark Places, was named one of the best books of 2009 by Publisher’s Weekly and a “Top Summer Read” by USA Today. Her newest thriller is Gone Girl.
