Creative Writing Minor

Student Opportunities

In addition to developing their creative writing skills in beginning and advanced workshops, students with a Creative Writing Minor have opportunities to interact with visiting writers in the Dillon Johnston Writers Reading Series; participate in student readings; and gain career skills in editing and publishing by working on Wake Forest’s student literary magazine, 3 to 4 oz. Students taking classes toward a Minor in Creative Writing also learn about literary activities in Winston-Salem and nearby areas with strong writing communities such as Greensboro, Chapel Hill, Durham, and elsewhere.
