Graduates awarded English teaching assistantships in France

Congratulations to 2017 graduates and French Studies majors Jacob Buchholz and Ben Kalan, who have been awarded positions as English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) in France for 2017-18! Ben has been placed in the Académie de Lille;  he’ll be working at two schools near the city of Valenciennes. Jacob will be working in the city of Clermont-Ferrand (Académie  de Clermont-Ferrand), dividing his time between a lycée and a collège.

The Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF), sponsored by the French Ministry of Education, places assistants in regions across France as well as in the overseas departments like Guadeloupe and Martinique.
