I have spent the majority of my adult life working in higher education in a number of capacities, including running residence halls, administering student life activities/programs, advising, coaching, and teaching.

I have served as an Instructional Technologist at Wake Forest University since September 2001. A technology generalist, my professional interests include technology training, end-user support, instructional design, multimedia production for instruction, open source and freeware/shareware alternatives to commercial software,  gadgets & emerging technologies, and more.

In addition to my assigned departments, I serve on a number of campus-wide projects and committees. These include

Developing and leading the annual ThinkPad training for faculty and staff
Assisting with campus Qualtrics and WordPress training
Serve on the Professional Development Center Advisory Board and chair the PDC’s Technology Subcommittee
Serve as a member of the ITG’s Mac team
