As part of the “Diasporas and Race” International Conference that will be held at Wake Forest University from October 25th to October 27th of this year, Josefina Baez will conduct a dialogue and reading of “Comrade, Bliss ain’t playing.” This presentation will take place on Thursday, October 25th at 7 PM at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art. The Poetry Slam and reception requires a $5 entrance free.
Josefina Baez, a Dominicanyork Performance Artist, is a performer, writer, theatre director, and educator. She is the founder and director of the Ay Ombre Theatre and has published several books.
