Magnolia Scholars are guided to already existing Wake Forest University programs that can help them build a solid bridge from the first year to the senior year and beyond graduation.
The Transition Program helps Scholars learn about and feel comfortable engaging important resources in the community. Scholars will register with Career Services DeaconSource program, are encouraged to participate in the Chaplain’s faculty/staff-to-student mentoring program and urged to register with the Center for International Studies. Magnolia Scholars will also attend workshops with the Learning Assistance program, the Counseling Center and the Writing Center. Magnolia Scholars will have small group lunches with professionals in their anticipated fields to discuss appropriate class work and internship opportunities.
