Samuel Adler, the eminent composer of over 400 published compositions, teacher, conductor and author, will speak at Wake Forest University.  In celebration of his 90th birthday, Dr. Adler will lecture on his newly released autobiography, Building Bridges with Music.  Building Bridges with Music begins with his childhood in Nazi Germany, through his immigration to America at age 10, and on to his over sixty years as one of America’s most significant composers and influential teachers.

Open to the public and free of charge.  A book-signing and reception honoring Dr. Adler will occur immediately following his lecture
