Spring 2017 Audition and Individual Instruction Registration Information
Information on Individual Instruction (Private Lessons)
If you are interested in registering for private instrumental or vocal lessons, you will need to register in-person in the Music Department Office, room M309, SFAC. The registration period is Monday, January 9, 2017 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
If you have not previously taken private lessons at Wake Forest, registration for voice, guitar, and piano lessons will require an interview or audition (depending on your level of experience) and a one-on-one meeting with the instructor. Interview/audition times for Spring 2016 are as follows:
- Voice: Monday, January 9, 10:00 am-noon and 2-5 pm
- Piano: Monday, January 9, 2:00-4:00 pm
- Guitar: Monday, January 9, 2:00-4:00 pm
Voice auditions will be held on a walk-in basis. Stop by M309 SFAC to complete paperwork and be directed to your auditions. For guitar and piano audition times will be in M309 SFAC beginning at 9:00 am on Monday, January 9.
All registrants who have not previously studied voice at Wake Forest should report to M313 SFAC for an audition-interview on Monday, January 9, between 10:00 am and 12 noon, or 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
All registrants who have not previously studied piano at Wake Forest should sign up for an audition/interview on Monday, January 9, between 2:00 and 4:00 pm in the Music Office (M309).
MUS 178P is intended for beginning piano students. If the course and waitlist are full, please contact Dr. Inkman at email@example.com to express your interest in enrolling.
All registrants who have not previously studied with Ms. Dixon should sign up for an audition/interview on Monday, January 9, between 2:00 and 5:00 pm in the Music Office (M309). Audition/interviews will be held in M211.
Please be aware that Individual Instruction fees are $325 per semester for 30 minute weekly lessons (MUS 161), and $650 per semester for hour-long weekly lessons (MUS 162, 262, 362, and 363), and are payable to Financial and Accounting Services.
