Senior Students

Wake Forest law student Doug Ansel takes part in a seminar class Most seniors planning to go immediately to Law School will take the LSAT in June before their senior year.  Rolling application dates usually begin on October 1, so you should have recommendation letters ready to go by that time.  This means contacting your recommenders WELL before that date, and presenting them with full transcripts, resumes, draft personal statements, and other needed materials.  Your recommenders and the Prelaw Adviser may be able to assist on the personal statement, but remember that the personal statement MUST be truly your own, i.e. it must be about YOU.  To get started on this, please download the Senior Information Form, and send it to maine@wfu.edu before starting joint work on the personal statement.

Law School can be an intense experience, and an expensive one.  MAKE SURE you have done thorough research, including campus visits, and discussions with lawyers and current law students, in order to make this major investment worthwhile.  Re-read relevant citations in this website under “Getting Advice,” “Applying to Law School,” and “Resource Links”.
