University Awards

William C. and Ruth N. Archie Award Wake Forest Fellows Phi Beta Kappa
This award, the highest for graduating seniors, is given each year “to the graduating senior who has shown most conspicuously a commitment to liberal learning, to scholarship, and to the ideals of Wake Forest College.” Established by the President’s Office in 2008, the fellows program grew out of the University’s Strategic Plan as a way to provide highly capable graduates a chance to work in higher-education administration for a year. Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society for the liberal arts.
