Bio

 

Jasmine Harris-LaMothe joined the Wake Forest faculty in 2013 as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Prior to that, she served as the Dissertation Fellow at Augustana College. Her research agenda focuses on ethnic tensions across the African Diaspora, particularly as they relate to gender identities. Her primary research and teaching focus has been on immigrants currently living in the United States. She has written on the influence of ethnicity on racial identity on group membership, professional identity, gender discrimination, role strain, and language use.
