Q.  I attend another college.  Can I take summer courses at Wake Forest?

A.  Yes.  You will need to complete a visitor application and submit to us along with a letter of good standing from your current school.

O. I am a high school student and want to take a course at Wake.  Is this possible?

A.  Yes.  High School juniors and seniors can take summer courses with the permission of their high school official

Q.  How do I transfer the Wake course credit to my home school?

A.  Before you finish your course here, go to the Office of the Registrar and request a transcript be sent to your school.

Q.  How much does it cost to take a course at Wake Forest during the summer?

A.  The tuition for 2016 is $900.00 per credit hour.

Q.  What do I do if I need housing and how much does it cost?

A.  Contact Residence Life and Housing:  WIN>Virtual Campus>Residence Life and Housing>Summer School Request

Q. How many courses am I allowed to take per summer term?

A.  You can take up to 7 hours each summer term.

Q.  When is the deadline for registering for summer courses?

A.  Visitors can register up to a week before classes begin. Some courses fill up fast, so an early (March) application is recommended.

Q.  Is it possible to audit summer courses?

A.  Yes, as long as you have the permission of the instructor.

Q.  I don’t see the days of the week listed for the course I want to take.  How do I find out what days it is taught.

A.  Unless the course specifies otherwise, it is taught every weekday and a couple of Saturdays.

Q.  My mother/father is a WFU employee and say I can go to summer school for free.  Is this true?

A.  Please have your parent check with their HR department.  The HR rep. will tell if they are eligible for Tuition Concession.

Q.  How does my child get tuition concession?

A.  You must complete a Tuition Concession Form and return it to your HR department.

Q.  I am a WFU student.  When and how do I sign up for summer?

A.  You do not need to complete a summer school application.  You can register online March 14 – May 31.

Q.  When is tuition due?

A.  Tuition for both summer 1 and summer 2 is due June 1st.

Q.  I am a WFU student and would like to take courses at another school. What do I need to do?

A.  Contact the Office of the Registrar concerning approval for summer school elsewhere and how to get credit at WFU.
