Part-time Assistant Professor, Theatre

Mr. Collins has taught at Wake Forest since 2004, he also worked professionally in New York theatre where he lived for twenty years.  Ray worked as an actor in London’s West End, New York Off Broadway, and regional theatre in the UK and USA. His recent Triad theatre credits include Phileas Fogg in Around the World in Eighty Day’s for Triad Stage, and the Duke of Kent in a production of King Lear for the Wake Forest University Theatre Department. His directing credits include Marvin’s Room, at Wake Forest and at Reynolda House in Winston Salem Fighting over Beverley, Free Gift, and Moving Picture.  Ray also teaches acting, voice and speech at NC A&T. He is active as an actor working in film, commercials, voiceovers and as a dialect coach. His most recent film credits are The Three Stooges (20th Century Fox) and The Confession (Hallmark Channel).
