A special announcement from Dr. Mary Dalton, WGS Core Faculty member, Professor of Communication, and Co-Director of the Documentary Film Program:

“For the last year, I have been working on a documentary that tells the love story of Pearl Berlin and Lennie Gerber, two women whose 40+ year relationship has endured multiple states, careers, cats, and both health and political challenges. We’re so excited to announce the launch of the brand new website for Living in the Overlap, which is chock-full of information about this important documentary.”

“My colleagues and I feel so fortunate to help tell the story of these two wonderful women and think that once other folks have “met” Lennie and Pearl, they will feel the same. We believe this film will be affirming to LGBTQ(IA) communities and hope it will change hearts and minds of others.”
