After I finished my undergraduate degree at Ohio State University, I went on to earn a master’s degree in college student personnel at Bowling Green State University. I started my career as a professional hall director at the University of Missouri, and after taking some time away to start a family, I came to Wake Forest to continue my professional career in higher education.
Writing has always been a part of my life. I was the editor of my high school newspaper, I majored in journalism at Ohio State, and I’ve written for numerous professional publications–not to mention my countless personal diaries and journals. It is a joy to be able to combine my passion for helping students grow and develop during their college experiences with my commitment to furthering the mission of the writing center and composition studies at Wake Forest.
