The Wake Forest University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa has selected Associate Professor of Design and Production Kevin Frazier for the 2025 Kulynych Family Omicron Delta Kappa Award.

Frazier has brought a hands-on and storytelling approach to his teaching that resonates with students since his arrival at Wake Forest almost 9 years ago. In addition to his teaching, Frazier has managed the lighting design for more than 20 Wake Forest University productions. He also works as a freelance lighting, sound, and projections designer across the East Coast with more than 100 professional shows to his name, and he has been nominated for five Suzi Bass Awards and three New Hampshire Theatre Awards.

According to his students, Frazier goes above and beyond to connect with them in and out of the classroom. One student writes that “he cares deeply for the mental and emotional well-being of his students and always prioritizes that as a part of his curriculum.”  Another nominee calls Frazier “the most caring and supportive professor I’ve met.”

Omicron Delta Kappa is proud to honor Kevin Frazier for his exemplary work in bridging the gap between classroom and student life. Congratulations!
