Honors & Awards Ceremony

During summer Commencement weekend, the Honors & Awards Ceremony recognizes the academic excellence of Wake students.

This Wake Forest tradition acknowledges and appreciates, in more detail, the academic excellence of students for their impressive achievements in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Students are recognized by faculty and staff mentors who worked closely with them during their academic tenure.

The honors and awards presented at the ceremony embodies thousands of hours of research, scholarship, collaboration, and critical thinking, as the wide range of talents and efforts of students and faculty alike.

I congratulate our talented students who have achieved remarkable accomplishments in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences. We celebrate your tireless dedication, countless hours of research, scholarship and critical thinking.

Anthony Marsh, 2023, Interim Dean of the College

These students have demonstrated intellectual leadership, contributed to the creation of new knowledge, expressed themselves creatively through different mediums, & produced strikingly original scholarship.
